So often this or that actress you feel is destined for big things only for her to disappear without a trace. This is a shoutout for all those actresses (only actresses for this initial post) that may have escaped your attention recently.



Elaine Cassidy is an Irish actress who came to prominence on a horror series called Harper's Island. The show made quite an impression on the TV landscape and you could see its influence on a lot of shows that came after. 


Also there was no end of gorgeous women in the cast not just Cassidy herself including Katie Cassidy, Alie Libert, Cameron Richardson and Marie Avgeropoulos. Definitely worth a weekend on Netflix.

Grace Park

Grace Park is in a lot of ways the definition of underrated, I'd argue that she was brought on to star in Hawaii Five-O as the fan service but she was so much more than that. 


Anyone who watched Battlestar Galactica would realise how talented she is. Also she keeps herself in incredible shape.

Lindsey Shaw
Lindsey Shaw got a tough break on Pretty Little Liars her character Paige was all over the place over the show's run but Shaw was still worth watching.


I saw her star in one of those angsty film dramas around the same time as PLL I think it was called Love Me and she was pretty cool.
