So this post is going way back, before the Internet, before Disney was a evil corporation well on the way to world domination to a simpler time, a time of mouseketeers and beach movie series. I give you Annette Funicello.
Annette Funicello was an child actor and performer on the original Mickey Mouse Club and singer who went on to be a bit of a pin-up and one of my first major crushes. Between seeing her on the Disney Channel (just think way back then they only had the one channel) and then later watching her in the Beach movies, Beach Blanket Bingo, Muscle Beach Party to name a few.
